Looking for a strong leader to help define and execute the ambitious growth strategy

HMS currently is the leading independent supplier of solutions for industrial communication and the Industrial Internet of Things. In May 2019 HMS acquired Raster Products, a distributor in The Netherlands and changed their name into HMS Industrial Networks B.V.

For HMS Industrial Networks B.V. we are exclusively looking for a General Manager Benelux to grow the existing business and reseller network as well as developing other HMS distributors/resellers in the area representing other parts of HMS’ business.

Responsibilities and objectives include;

To be Managing Director and have full legal responsibility for the legal entity HMS Industrial Networks B.V. This may be shared with another MD located in the Swedish headquarters (most probably the CFO).

Have Full P&L responsibility.

Create strategies to reach sales goals, setting targets for your team, sales coaching, propose marketing activities and business development activities with a purpose to increase sales. All activities outside of plan or budget are reported to GM MU North for approval before executing.

Prepare and present marketing plan for the assigned area. After approval, attend roadshows and other marketing related activities including proactive search for new HMS customers.

The candidate must have 8+  years of experience in an international sales environment. It is required that the candidate has a background or network in building automation, and/or industrial/factory automation. If the candidate has knowledge of Industrial IoTit would be very welcome.
The role of General Manager Benelux demands that the individual is a highly skilled person who is able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment. Therefore,a suitable candidate will have a bachelor or master’s degree in sales or engineering. He or she must be fluent in English and preferably German and/or French. It is required that the General Manager Benelux has experience in running a P&L center, knows his way around Dutch law and has proven experience in managing and negotiating contracts and agreements in an international environment.
